East Valley Free America Walkout (And Bridge Brigade)

Immediately after walking out of school and work for the Free America Walkout, get out on the streets to bring the public pressure on. Join our protest and bridge brigade to deliver a message to thousands of drivers.

Please meet promptly at 2:30 at the parking lot to the northwest of the bridge. You will be given a sign to hold that will spell out a message to drivers on the 202 freeway. If not holding a sign for the bridge brigade, show off your signs in one of the busiest areas in Gilbert, and cause the disturbance that our country needs.

One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent.  It is time for our communities to escalate as well. 

2025 was a year of marches that showed our collective strength. And as the threats grow, our movement must evolve and escalate. Trump and his allies have already made clear that a second term would bring a deeper wave of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and violence than the first.
